His Obituary: Bobby Lee Scott was born August 1, 1968 to Fred and Mary Scott in Dillon, South Carolina. He entered eternal rest on Monday, July 24th, 2023 in Greensboro, North Carolina. Bobby, known to family and friends as “Bob” or “Punkin” was educated in the public schools of Dillon County and was a graduate of Dillon High School Class of 1988. After high school, Bobby moved to Greensboro, North Carolina and began working at the North Carolina Department of Transportation where he worked for 27 years. Bobby was supportive of family and friends. If you were hosting an event and he knew about it, he was likely to show up. He rarely called to give a heads up, you would look up, and he was there. He enjoyed softball, fishing, and hunting. His presence will surely be missed. Bobby leaves to cherish his loving memories, his parents, Fred and Mary Scott; three sons, Mario Scott, Bobby “Bj” Scott, Jr., Aaron Scott of Greensboro, NC; two daughters, Kiericka Edwards, Zaria Scott of Greensboro, North Carolina; two sisters, Catherine Scott, Karen Williamson; eight brothers, James Bethea, Freddie Scott, Richard Scott, Tommy Scott, Timmy Scott, Terry Scott, Frederick Scott; five aunts, Lizzie Mearite, Dorothy Covington, Veola (Duran) Penn, Williamenia Covington, Denise (Elder Alexander) McRae; six uncles, Ronnie Bethea, Frank Covington, James (Linda) Covington, John (Connie) Covington, William Covington, Ezell Jarvis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
