The obituary: Born on July 20, 1976 to Gwendolyn Johnson and Lynwood Jones in Dillon, SC. She entered eternal rest on Thursday, July 28, 2023, in Dillon, SC. Barenda Rochelle Johnson is known to family and friends as "Chell", “Big Dawg” and "Boom Boom". She graduated from Lake View High Class of 1994. After high school she pursued a career in emergency services as a 911 dispatch operator. She was supported by family and friends from Lake View, South Carolina to West Palm Beach, Florida. Barenda was always known for her smile and outgoing spirit. She could light up any room when she enters. Her beautiful spirit was always known to be caring, supportive and loving to others in need. She loved to dance, she loved nature, and she truly enjoyed laughing. Everyone knew her as being an amazing and supportive parent, who also loved all children. Barenda Rochelle Johnson is survived by her loving two children, one son Kalon Malik Fields of Woodstock, Ga. and one daughter, Nakyra Monique Fields of Gainesville, Fl, her father Lynwood Jones, and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
