Obituary of Ms. Barbara McRae

It's with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Barbara McRae. The family will receive friends at 326 S Old Magnolia Road, Latta, SC. Please remember the McRae Family in your prayers as they are planning her Homegoing Celebration. Her life story: Barbara Ann McRae, was born to the late Houston and the late Leola Bethea. Barbara departed this life on Saturday, November 11th at 1 o' clock a.m. at McLeod Regional Hospital in Dillon, SC. Barbara attended Dillon High School. To know Barbara was to love her. She will be truly missed. Barbara was married to the late Willie Bee McRae for 31 years. Barbara loved life and her family. She kept a smile on her face even in her darkest days. Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Leola Bethea and her father, Houston Bethea; her husband, Willie Bee McRae; her son, Gregory Bethea; her granddaughter, MyAngel Williams; mother-in-law, Alberta McRae; father-in-law, RIchard McRae; 5 brothers; a sister; a grandchild; 2 grandmothers and 5 brother-in-laws. Barbara leaves her fond memories to her children; Shamona Bethea, Tameka Bethea, Willie Bethea and Jessie Bethea all of Dillon, SC; her grandchildren, Daquan Legette, Bella Bethea, Jaheim Bethea, Jalayzha Bethea, KaDasia Lewis, Juelz Bethea, Tymaisha Lewis, Jahmir Bethea, Shawaynesha Grice, Nykera Bethea, Hyshawn Bethea and Shameisia Bethea all of Dillon, SC; 3 sisters, Alice (James) Manning, Fodie Mae (George)Sparks and Joann Pearson of Alabama; sister-in-laws, Mary Lou McRae, Mary Frances McRae, Ida Williams all of Latta, SC, Estella (James) Jennings, Gloria (Alfred) McCallum of Rowland, NC, Virginia (RC) Stackhouse of Newark, NJ; brother-in-laws, James Lee McRae, Bud Kenney (Jackie) McRae, Richard McRae and Johnny McMillan all of Latta, SC; her extended daughters, Pamela McCelveen, Stephanie McCall, Jasmine Santos and Selese Davis and her extended sister, Ann McCall and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
