Obituary of Ms. Betty Charles

Betty Jean Charles of Dillon, SC went to be with the Lord on January 31, 2022. She was born on March 24, 1961 to the late Albertha Charles and Roosevelt Charles. Betty was a family person and had a love so strong everyone she knew felt it. Her favorite hobbies were cooking and taking care of the home, working hard, taking care of the people she loved and serving the Lord. Betty loved Ginger Ale; you never caught her without one. She would always say, "don't forget my Ginger Ale" whenever someone was going to the store. Betty will be missed by all who loved her but especially her family; her sister, Bobbie (John) Malloy of the home; sister, Lille (James) Nelson of Dillon, SC; Agnes (John) Malloy of High Point, NC; Kassie Malloy of High Point, NC and Queen "Ester" Charles of Dillon, SC. Special nephews, Antwan Charles and Larry Santanio Malloy; one special niece, Maria Charles and two special great-nieces, Shyla and Jurnee Thompson of the home and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, William "Jon - Jon" John Malloy, Jr.
