Obituary of Mr. James "Skip" Bethea, Jr.

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” Matthew 5: 3-4,8 James "Skip" Bethea ,Jr. who was born on May 21, 1970 departed this life on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 in his residence. James attended and Graduated from the public schools of Lake View, South Carolina. He attended Bethlehem Church of Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Bishop Snow. James was a hard worker and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and had a passion for his pigeons and dogs. Everyone who knew him knows that he was a loving and caring person. He was better known as “SKIP”. James leaves to cherish his fond loving memories one son: Daqwaun Bethea of Boynton Beach, Florida; two grandchildren: Amani Bethea, Zhuri Bethea both of Boynton Beach, Florida; His parents: James Mary Bethea of Lake View, SC; five sisters: Tosha Waters (Leroy) of Dillon, SC; Tangela Wheeler (Michael) of Lake View, SC; Lakayla McRae (Tommy) of Mullins, SC; Karen Bethea of Mullins, SC; Crystal Leonard of Nichols, SC; three brothers: Tony Bethea (Shyonne) of Jacksonville Florida; Marcus Bethea of Charlotte, NC; Andre Leonard (Tina) of Rockhill, SC, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and family.
