Obituary of Master Ryeland Messiah Lytch

Matthew 19:14: Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” NIV: New International Version. Master Ryeland Messiah Lytch was born August 28, 2020, to Sabrina Campbell and Rae’Quan Lytch in Laurinburg, N.C. “Doodlebug,” “Chubb,” or “Rye,” as he was affectionately called, was a very sweet and loving little boy with an insatiable appetite for music. His favorite song was “Boss Baby.” Ryeland captured the hearts of all who was ever blessed with his presence. Ryeland’s journey on earth concluded on Friday, September 16, 2022, at McLeod Hospital in Florence, S.C. Although his journey was short, the imprint that he made was unforgettable. Ryeland was receiving transition services to attend S.C. School for the Deaf and Blind. He had avery supportive and loving therapeutic and medical services team. Ryeland was preceded in death by Uncle Thomas (Jaxon) Wheeler. Ryeland leaves behind a huge village that will miss him dearly: His loving parents, Sabrina and Rae’Quan; brothers: RayQuan Townsend, Kingston Campbell, and Kavian McRae; Maternal grandparents: Ella Loyd and Calvin Campbell; Paternal grandparents: Shameka Campbell and Tyrone Love; Paternal Great-Grandmother: Wanda Lester; Aunts: Kasilyn Loyd, Aulona Thompson, Ah-zhi’riah Campbell, Patience Campbell, Websteria Love, and Tyronesha Love; Uncles: Kendell Ingram (Torecka), Leartis Ingram, Webster Love, Jr., and Za,Marion Lester; Special Aunts/Uncles: Tasha (Noel) Smith, Jermel (Ashley) Thomas, and Murio McRae; Great- Aunts/Uncles: Edgenora Campbell, Dorothy Campbell, Tyeshia Lester, Tyrell Lester, Michael Campbell, Charles Ingram, and Clenzo Ingram; God-Parents: Jeremiah Gilcrest and Markita Manning; God-siblings: Julaysia Manning, Jenesis Gilcrest, and Aesir Townsend; Special Grandfather: Leconnie Manning; Special cousins: Octavia Thomas, Terrini Thomas, Shanequa Cain, Aniyah Washington, Tayheem Cannady, Jamya Cannady, Karissa Smith, Elijah Smith, Jeremiah Ingram, Miranda Ingram and Kaison Breeden; and an incredible host of cousins, family, and friends. Ryeland’s memory will be forever cherished by all that loved him. The family will receive friends at 115 Jennings Street, Bennettsville, SC 29512.
