Obituary of Mr. Bobby Allen Walters

For I am ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight; I have finished my course. I have kept the faith; Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day. II Timothy 4:6, 4-8. Bobby Allen Walters was born on May 18, 1965 in Dillon County and departed this life on November 21, 2022 at his home in Georgetown, SC. Bobby attended the schools in Lake View, SC and was a faithful "Wild Gator" fan. Bobby first accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at Little Mount Zion Baptist Church, Lake View, SC. Later in life, he became a dedicated member of First Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Georgetown, SC, where he served faithfully as a member of the Usher Ministry under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Lorenzo Smalls, Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emma J. Faulk and Edward Commodore; his brother, Steve Allen Walters; grandparents, Ms. Emma D. Carmichael, Mr. W.C. Waters, Mr. Clarence Commodore and Mrs. Eula Mae Commodore and his nephew, Keivonte Waters. Bobby leaves to cherish fond memories: his children, Darrell Carmichael, Terrence McNeil, Nyema McNeil and Brandon Townsend; grandchildren, Shellyiah, Nicholas, Justice, RaQuan, Antonio, Darrell Jr, Terrence Jr, Janel, Nathaniel; sister, Lynette (Greg) Waters Sanders; brother, Edward Commodore; nieces, Latasha, Ja'Quanna, and Diayah; 5 great nieces; nephews, Travis, Cody, Anthony, Henri, Shaquille, Josepher and Gregory; 8 great nephews; aunts, Beverly Lynn, Linda (Farmer), Janice, Amy (Clay), Sharvion (Alexadner), Terri (Bobby), Sarab, Yvonne Lee, Patricia (Billy), Curtis (Heyward), Anna, Vonnie, Georgia, Patsy, Marlene, Elaine (Thurmond), Shirley (Mack); uncles, Malcolm (Mary), Don (Thomasine), Leroy (Tasha), Earl (Essie), Johnny (Linda) and Larry; great aunts, Janice Gilchrist, Zona Mae Stalling, Lista Mae Abram; a special friend, Gwen Brown; a bonus family, Ms. Barbara G. Faison, Byron Gilliard, Tina Gilliard Rice, Donald Gilliard, Marty Gillard, Robbie Faison and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
