The obituary: “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint – Isaiah 40:31” Pervis DeLeon Belin, Jr., (so lovingly called “June” by his family) was born on Thursday, January 22, 1959, in Dillon, SC, to the late Pervis D. Belin, Sr. and Fannie M. Ross Belin. He departed this life and entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 13, 2023. During his formative years, he attended Florence County and Dillon County Public Schools, completing his secondary education at Latta High School in 1977. Pervis went on to attend South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, South Carolina where he not only studied business but developed a treasure of life-long friendships. While attending SCSU, Pervis was inducted into the noble bond of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. In May of 1982, he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a Minor in Management & Marketing. In addition to being faithful and committed, he served as Secretary for the Latta Lodge #86 Free & Accepted Masons. Above all else, Pervis loved God and his family.
