Obituary of Mr. Howard Lampley

The obituary: Howard Lampley the son of the late George and Willie Mae Lampley was born on March 11, 1936. On April 29, 2023, he transitioned to his Heavenly home. He was the third of 8 siblings, six of whom preceded him in death. Howard was married to the late Julie Mae Lampley on June 13, 1955. To his union, five children were born. Howard Lampley was a faithful member of the New Covenant Assembly of Christ Jesus, Dillon, SC, where he served as a Deacon for many years under the leadership of the late Bishop E.A Jones, the late Elder Julius Watson, and the current Pastor Elder Eddie Waston. He was preceded in death by his son, Alexander Lampley(Margaret). Howard leaves to cherish fond memories, four children, Larry Lampley (Brenda) of Hamer, SC, Brenda Jacobs(Jerry) of Hamer, SC, James Howard Lampley (Annie) of Hamer, SC, and Johnathon Lampley (Mary) of Hamer, SC.; a brother, James Lampley "Chunk" (Tommy Jane) of Rowland, NC; a special Godson, Elder Ricky Gilchrist (Annie) of Dillon, SC; 12 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; a loving brother-in-law, Bishop Allen McArthur, who was also his longtime best friend, whom he loved dearly. He also leaves three special sister-in-laws, Daisy McArthur, Annie Wallace, Tommy Jane Lampley and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends.
