Obituary of Mr.James Christopher Harmon

We, the Prestige Funeral Home Staff, respectfully announce the passing of Mr. James Harmon. The family will receive friends at 912 Highway 34 West, Dillon, SC. Please remember the Harmon Family in your prayers as they prepare to celebrate the Life and Legacy of Mr. James Harmon. His Life Story: James Christopher Harmon, son of Marilyn V Wheeler and the late Lorenzo Rico Owens was born on November 24,1985 in Dillon, SC. Christopher transitioned on June 26, 2023 to his heavenly home. Christopher graduated from Dillon High School in 2004. His desire for education did not stop there. Christopher had a passion for healthcare and loved working at the hospital. His passion led him to pursue his CNA license and a phlebotomist certification at Florence- Darlington Technical College. Christopher had plans to continue his certifications and pass his board exams within the coming weeks. Christopher had multiple interests that included playing the guitar, listening to music, going to the beach, working on cars and cooking. Some of his favorite dishes to cook included Banana Pudding, Chicken Bog, and Japanese fruit cake that his mother taught him how to make. Christopher loved the colors blue and red. His favorite food was Pizza and anything that included cheese. Christopher could be a quiet spirit but also knew how to put a smile on everyone’s face. Christopher is survived by his loving Mother Marilyn V Wheeler and stepfather Nickie Wheeler ;4 Siblings Cedric Breeden (Amaris), Renee Miller, Joshua Harmon (Lakita), Nicholas Wheeler (Leila); 2 Grandparents Jim and Ruth Harmon; A close friend, Charles Thompson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
